Im Oktober erscheinent eine Zusammenstellung der Rolling Stones Auftritte bei der Ed Sullivan Show auf DVD in zwei Versionen!



On October 4, 2011, SOFA Entertainment will release FOUR ED SULLIVAN SHOWS STARRING THE ROLLING STONES. This 2 DVD set features these 12 classic Stones' songs:

SIX ED SULLIVAN SHOWS STARRING THE ROLLING STONES DELUXE EDITION will be released on November 1st.
It features all 6 full episodes starring The Rolling Stones along with other classic artists and original commercials. It also includes performances by Joan Rivers, Rodney Dangerfield, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Petula Clark, The Muppets and many more.

The Collector's Edition includes all 17 songs The Stones performed on Sullivan -- the above 12 songs plus these 5 hits:

Vorsicht, bei den beiden von Money genannten DVDs handelt es sich um Bootlegs, das sind keine offiziellen Aufnahmen.

RSVP2000 ist eine Webseite eines argentinischen Bootleg Händlers, wer mich kennt weiss, das ich ein absoluter Gegner davon bin, dass man mit Bootlegs handelt, also mit anderen Stonesfans Geld verdient. Tauschen ist ok!

Ich kann nicht viel zur realen Qualität sagen, weil ich die Teile nicht habe, ist mir auch zu alt.
Im ersten Thread ist ja ein Querschnitt der Qualität im Video zu sehen, stammt ja von der Ed Sullivan Webseite: http://www.edsullivan.com/products/the-6…rolling-stones/

Aber wie kommst Du generell auf HD im Bezug auf die DVDs?


Meine Logik sagt mir, die Qualität kann kaum besser sein, als die qualitative Aufnahmemöglichkeit aus der damaligen Zeit. Klar wurden diese Aufnahmen interpoliert aber eben, mit HD hat das nicht sehr viel zu tun.

Wobei YouTube Videos auch im HD Modus massiv komprimiert werden beim Upload, sollte man also bedenken.
