Hier ist Platz für alles über Stones-Shows im nächsten Jahr.

Ihr könnt Gerüchte, News, Infos, einfach alles, was ihr hört/seht/findet hier posten.

Derzeit sieht es nach kleinen Gigs (Arenen und Clubs) aus, evtl USA im Frühjahr und Europa danach - wohl als Promotion für "Shine A Light". Asien wird wohl nicht dabei sein, da kein Markt vorhanden ist. Warten wir's also einfach mal ab.

Zumindest werden wir hier von den "Nach-Tour-Depressionen" abgelenkt

Momentan sieht es folgendermaßen aus:

Es wird einige wenige Shows im Rahmen der "Shine A Light" Promotion geben. USA und Europa sind dabei, Asien wohl nicht (auch wenn andere Gerüchte dies besagen). Auch wird es (voraussichtlich) keine Stadien-Shows geben, sondern nur kleinere Hallen und Clubs.

Das bestätigte Ronnie Wood (60), seit 1975 Stones-Gitarrist, gegenüber der britischen «Sun». Er dementierte damit alle anders lautenden Gerüchte. «Wir brauchen jetzt eine kleine Pause, aber wir werden wieder auf Tournee gehen. Wir werden niemals aufhören», sagte Wood gegenüber der Boulevardzeitung.

nicht schlecht. damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet... als promotion für einen film die stones "auf tour gehen zu lassen"... alle achtung!

naja, "Tour" ist auch leicht übertrieben, aber immerhin ein paar Live Shows

The Stones have just completed a two-year tour, culminating in a concert at the O2 Stadium in London at the end of August. “Things have gone well,” he says, adding that the eternal question of how long they will keep going is “a function of many things. If you still enjoy what you are doing, and the audiences still enjoy coming, then it’s a two-way street. Beyond that, ‘how long’ is a crystal-ball question.” The band will tour again, he says, even though no dates have yet been arranged.

Expect a tour of 3 months or so in the spring, doing far east and north america. Not massive but interesting.

hmmm. drei monate - und dann nordamerika PLUS ferner osten (china, indien,...)

das scheint wirklich auf ausgewählte konzerte hinauszulaufen. ich werde mich in diesem fall mit internetrecherche begnügen. shanghai oder toronto sind nicht wirklich meine preisklasse ;o)

They will start touring end Jan or early Feb. India, Bangkok and Japan plus more. Great news are they look into more shows in Japan. They are back for sakura - cherry blossom - if they can get it for late March, before they head back to boost the new movie in North America. o the big question is, who knows when sakura is 2008...

Meine Quelle hatte ja schon Mitte August davon gesprochen, dass Asien eher nicht, aber durchaus bissi was in Europa - ich gehe davon aus, dass zum Release von SAL in USA was im Frühjahr passiert und wir evtl im Sommer in den Genuss kommen (ABER ohne Gewähr)...

I think it is important to hear what BV (Bjornulf Vik) had to say on this on January 10.

Whatever you may think of him, the man has been quite reliable over the years regarding Stones information. He obviously has strong connections within the Stones camp.

Generally, these days, I would expect the Stones to announce a tour any place in the world with a maximum of 2-3 months. Mind you they are getting older and they don't want to have long term commitments. They do tours bits by bits.

Large tours need scheduling and 1-3 months pre-sales in Europe and North America. For the rest of the world they might show up on one month notice, but they would need to activate crew, rehearsals and booking of venues, and there are always some leaks, so they will not just pop out from nowhere. Relax!

Die US-Premiere von Shine a light ist offensichtlich nicht in New York sondern bei einem Festival http://2008.sxsw.com/

der Film ist schon auf der Seite unter den Premieren aufgeführt http://2008.sxsw.com/film/festival/films/

da bleibt dann nur noch wenig Hoffnung auf New Yorker Konzerte ....

auf der PK heute auch kein Wort über mögliche Konzerte (andererseits durfte ja auch nur Fragen zum Film gestellt werden.....)
