    AEROSMITH AND LENNY KRAVITZ
SET TO LAUNCH ONE OF 2005’S BIGGEST ARENA TOURS ON
    OCTOBER 30th

This fall is about to get...hotter.

AEROSMITH, America's Greatest Rock N' Roll Band, will turn up the temperature when they launch one of 2005's biggest tours Sunday, October 30, bringing their "inhibition-free, sweat-slicked rock 'n' roll" (Ian Fortnam, Classic Rock UK magazine) to arenas coast to coast. Billed as the "Rockin' The Joint" tour, it commences a few days after the release of a new AEROSMITH live DualDisc CD/DVD combo October 25 on Columbia, ROCKIN' THE JOINT (LIVE AT THE HARD ROCK HOTEL LAS VEGAS). AEROSMITH have invited one of music’s premiere rock musicians Lenny Kravitz as their special guest for what promises to be an evening of unforgettable rock 'n' roll.

Aero Force One (AF1), the band's official fan club, will offer presale and V.I.P. tickets. Visit http://www.aeroforceone.com for details.

For these shows, AEROSMITH--STEVEN TYLER, JOE PERRY, BRAD WHITFORD, TOM HAMILTON and JOEY KRAMER--have come up with special staging whereby fans on the floor will have the chance to get up close and sweaty with the band who will perform on the ramps leading from the stage to the middle of the auditorium. This staging also ensures that everyone in the venue will have a better view of the performance.

Rockin' The Joint (Live At The Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas) is an album that re-underlines AEROSMITH's position as rock's quintessential live band. Recorded in January 2002 at during an intimate club date at The Joint in the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel, it contains 11 tracks that are by turns menacing, sexy, mysterious and downright infectious. The disc includes the live album debut of the fan favorite "Seasons Of Wither" from 1974's Get Your Wings, "No More No More," a seldom-played album track from 1975's Toys in the Attic, and a cover of the Fleetwood Mac chestnut "Rattlesnake Shake," one of the first songs the band ever played together and a staple of early tours. Also included are the live debuts of "Beyond Beautiful" and "Light Inside" from 2001's Just Push Play and "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing," the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame Inductees' first mega-hit that went to #1. The DVD-side of Rockin' The Joint boasts the entire album in Enhanced PCM Stereo along with four explosive performances filmed at The Joint including "No More No More" and "Draw the Line" plus the DVD-only tracks, "Dream On" and "Sweet Emotion." The DVD also captures some behind-the-scenes footage shot during the Vegas show and on the road during Aerosmith's triumphant Just Push Play tour.

Four-time Grammy award winner Lenny Kravitz’s high-octane set promises to be nothing short of extraordinary with the artist playing hit after hit from his expansive 15-year career, including his definitive classics "Fly Away," "Are You Gonna Go My Way, “Always on the Run,” "Dig In, Again” Where Are We Runnin” plus many, many more. Featuring his trademark combination of funk and rock n roll, Kravitz will be backed by his 10-piece band, ensuring that these one-time only shows are not to be missed.
