    ja, auf iorr hab ichs auch gelesen. wieder was mit seinem kehlkopf... und das nach ner kurzen tour-pause.


    vielleicht wärs ja gegangen. mit ner 18 song setlist und nummer sicher. aber die aufnahmen im beacon dürfen wahrscheinlich unter keinen umständen gefähret werden.


    neuer termin: 17.11. am 18. ist allerdings schon LA - und ich glaube kaum, dass sich die stones das antun werden: a) 2 gigs in zwei tagen und b) einmal von der ost- zur westküste der USA reisen...


    mal schaun, ob dann auch noch LA verschoben wird...


    OH MANN!!! es wird aber auch nciht langweilig mit den jungs...

    Oh Gott. Wir haben im Stonesforum einen Fankollege, der extra wegen Atlantic dorthin gereist ist. Und für Beacon hat er keine Tickets. Eine einzige Katastrophe...

    Hoffe die Clinton Show fällt auch aus. Die 2. Show - ok.

    Oje, das tut mir auch leid - ist wirklich der Super-GAU, wenn man extra so weit fliegt und die Show fällt aus. Da gehen bei mir im Hinterkopf auch gleich die Warnlampen an, für 2007 sehr überlegt zu buchen, wenn die Tickets rauskommen. Aber in so einem Fall, wenn so kurzfristig abgesagt wird und man ist schon unterwegs, ist ja wirklich keine Chance......

    O je, ... da fehlen einem echt die Worte ....
    außer dass es einem auch unendlich leid tut ...


    und dass man versucht, sich einmal annähernd in eine solche Situation hineinzudenken...

    Ja sowas ist immer mehr als beschi**en! Ein Bekannter von mir war zur 98/99 extra nach Toronto geflogen und die Show war auch wegen Stimmproblemen abgesagt worden - das Risiko fliegt immer mit

    Da Honolulu angeblich abgesagt wurde und LA auf diesen Termin verschoben werden soll, wird es gut passen, dass der Ersatztermin für Atlantic City wie schon geschrieben am 17. Nov. stattfindet...

    Die Frau startet eine "Class Action" gegen die Stones wegen der späten Absage von Atlantic City. Es geht darum, dass sie sagt, dass die Stones schon Stunden vorher Bescheid wussten.


    Bei einer "Class Action" können sich Alle anschliessen, die betroffen sind. Natürlich gabs ein Geschreie auf IORR. Aber das ist nun mal das Recht in den USA. Und in anderen Fällen war das die einzige Möglichkeit zu seiner Entschädigung zu kommen (z.B. Chemieunfällen). Die USD 51 Millionen beziehen sich auf den "Gesamtwert" der Klage, d.h. wenn sich 5'000 Fans anschliessen und gewinnen.. wird der Betrag natürlich kleiner.

    Woman to sue Stones for scrapping show

    Rosalie Druyan wants to stick the Rolling Stones between a rock and a hard place with a $US51 million ($A66.37 million) lawsuit.


    Shattered when Mick Jagger's sore throat scrapped the Rolling Stones concert in Atlantic City - four hours before its scheduled start - the Stones superfan from Brooklyn is taking the wrinkly rockers to court.


    In a class-action suit to be filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Druyan contends the late cancellation cost her and other fans big bucks on non-refundable hotel reservations, forcing them to spend the night together in cold and rainy Atlantic City.


    "Talk about no satisfaction," quipped lawyer Martin Druyan, who is representing his wife in the case.


    The Stones - who are set to play the Beacon Theatre on Tuesday night for a Martin Scorcese concert film on the legendary band - cancelled their show at Boardwalk Hall when Jagger came down with a sore throat. But the bad news didn't come soon enough for Rosalie Druyan, who last month had bought a pair of tickets to the show for $US575 ($A748).


    "People came from all over to see the Stones," she said.


    "When you talk about travel expenses, hotel and baby-sitting expenses, that's not a cheap day."


    Druyan said she received a Ticketmaster e-mail on her BlackBerry notifying her of the cancellation when she was a few kilometres from Atlantic City. By then it was too late to cancel a $US300 ($A390) reservation at the Trump Taj Mahal and too rainy to drive back to Brooklyn.


    "We were bored for nothing," said Druyan.


    The Stones announced that another Atlantic City concert will be held on November 17 and that refunds are available for ticket holders who can't make that date.


    But Druyan and her husband, who have attended nearly 50 Stones shows between them, won't be among those going back to Atlantic City. A spokeswoman for the band was not available for comment.


    "We're real Stones fans, and we see them everywhere," Rosalie Druyan said.


    "But we won't be seeing them at the make-up concert."
