Led Zeppelin: Robert Plant stellt Gig in Aussicht
Nach dem Super-Gig in der Londoner O2 Arena im Dezember letzten Jahres äußert sich Led Zeppelin Sänger Robert Plant nun zu einem weiterern Konzert.
Endlich die Led Zeppelin Reunion? Oder eine Welttournee? Die Gerüchteküche brodelt seit der Trennung 1980 fröhlich vor sich hin. Nun hat Fronter Robert Plant eingeräumt, dass ein weiteres Konzert möglich wäre.

Mit ihrem Reunion-Konzert im Dezember 2007 feierten die legendären Rocker unfassbare Erfolge. Millionen versuchten Karten für das Konzert in der Londoner 02-Arena zu ergattern.
"Es fühlte sich an wie die erste Nacht einer Tour," gestand Bassist John Paul Jones dem UNCUT Magazin. Während er und Gitarrist Jimmy Page weitere Konzerte nie ausschlossen und zuletzt sogar über ein neues Led Zeppelin-Studioalbum spekulierten, hielt sich Robert Plant bisher bedeckt.

Gegenüber dem Musikmagazin Uncut äußerte sich nun auch Robert Plant positiv zu einem einmaligen, weiteren Konzert: "Eines Tages können wir das hoffentlich wiederholen. Unser Gewinn ist - er ist metaphyischer Art."

Jetzt müssen nur noch die Umstände passen. Die Fans würden wohl wieder ziemlich ausflippen, zumal der Mitschnitt von dem Gig in London zumindest vorerst nicht auf DVD erscheinen soll.

Ich verstehe diese sture Haltung von Plant nicht, der Grossteil der Band will, abermillionen Fans wollen es also wo ist sein Problem????

Ist echt eine Schande, Jimmy Page lebt auch nicht ewig, deswegen, wir können unseren Jungs immer wieder danken, das Sie weiter rocken

Ich bin kein LedZep-Kenner, aber es muß nicht immer so einfach sein, wie es LQ auf den Punkt gebracht hat. Bonham sollen ja selbst nach 12 Jahren Bandgeschichte Selbstzweifel beschäftigt haben, weshalb er dann auch vermehrt zur Flasche griff. Und Plant weigerte sich jahrzehntelang Stairway To Heaven zu singen, weil er den Text kindisch fand. Deswegen glaube ich, daß manche Künstler viel am Grübeln sind. Wollen sie "nur ihre erfolgreiche Historie" bejubeln lassen oder durch aktuelle Werke auffallen? Wollen sie Led Zeppelin ohne ihren Stammschlagzeuger wiederbeleben? Ist die Erwartungshaltung überhaupt zu befriedigen? Wird man nach zwei Jahren für Albumaufnahmen, Vorbereitungen und Welttournee nicht reif für die Insel sein?

Es gibt sicherlich auch andere Bands, die einfach nur rausgehen und spielen.

Der Spruch "man soll das Eisen schmieden solange es noch heiß ist" gilt sicher nicht für Led Zeppelin. Die Band ist auch heute noch äußert begehrt bei Alt und Jung! Aber es stimmt, so langsam läuft ihnen einfach die Zeit davon. Die Gruppe hat sich vor 27 Jahren aufgelöst; noch einmal können sie nicht 27 Jahre ins Land ziehen lassen.

Mal eine Überlegung!
Lässt Plant weitere LZ Konzerte offen,damit genügend Zuschauer zu seiner Tournee kommen mit Allison?
Gehe mal von mir aus will Plant unbedingt mal sehen,da ich die Karten für London nicht genommen habe(bekam ich den Passcode 4 Tage zuvor) will ich mir jetzt die Chance nicht nochmal entgehen lassen.Stünde ein LZ Konzert an würde ich dort nicht hingehen.Hier nur mal zum beweis,die Mail.

O2 Arena between 10am and 6pm on Sunday 9 th December and between 10am
and 6pm on Monday 10th December. To avoid long queues on the day of the
show you are strongly urged to pick up your tickets and wristbands on
Sunday 9 th December or arrive as early as possible on Monday 10th
December, please be aware that ticket collection will be busy at peak
times and you should anticipate having to wait to be served.

•
To collect the tickets each original purchaser and the person
accompanying them to the show must be present in order to pick up the
tickets and wristbands. NO exceptions

• Each
original purchaser must provide the actual credit card used for the
purchase along with valid state-issued PHOTO ID in order to receive the
tickets and non-transferable wristbands. All
wristbands will be fitted immediately. The name on your photo ID must
match the name against which your passcode is registered AND the name
on the credit card used for the ticket purchase, otherwise you may be
refused entry to the event.

• There
will be no exceptions to the above, no name changes or letters of
authorisation will be accepted under any circumstances.

•
On the night of the show EVERYONE will be required to present BOTH the
WRISTBAND and TICKET for entrance to the show. Wristbands must NOT be
removed or tampered with prior to entering the show or your access will
be refused. Original ticketholders must bring photo ID to the show as
they may be required to present it upon entry to the venue.

• The original conditions of sale
will be enforced. These passcodes and tickets are non-transferable
under any circumstances and any resale or transfer, or attempted resale
or transfer, will invalidate your passcode and any ticket purchase made
using that passcode.

• No refunds will be accepted under any circumstances with the exception of the event being cancelled by the promoter.

• Customers with disabilities should forward this email and contact phone number to ticketing.co.uk to book accessible seating (subject to availability).

NEWS - Plant verlängert Krauss-Tour

Dienstag 15. Juli 2008, 15:11 Uhr -- Robert Plant hat seine Tournee mit der Bluegrass-Sängerin Alison Krauss verlängert. Die beiden Musikstars hatten sich im vergangenen Jahr (07) für ein Album zusammengetan und die Konzerte laufen so gut, dass Plant weitere Termine hinzugefügt hat. Die neuen Shows werden die zwei durch die USA führen und am 5. Oktober (08) im kalifornischen Saratoga zu Ende gehen.
