I attended on the European Tour 2007:

    1) Werchter (where I first met Treff members other than Iris such as Steffi, Marianne, and Thomas), they got me an FOS wristband which I did not even have to wait for, stealthy Steffi succeeded in getting it to me

    2) Neimegen (spelling?) (Arrived half way thru, fooled them with my same yellow wrist band from Werchter and got in free)

    3) Frankfurt (3rd row, good show, bad sound, great fotos, met up with Iris and other Treff folks after show)

    4) Paris (the most fun show of the tour dancing with Steffi, her mom, and her "ant", visited with the Argentinians, spilled beer on two people); best show thus far

    5) Lyon (an even better show, bootlegged it and put it on CD complete with my fotos on cover)

    6) Barcelona (a little crazy with the pushing up front, Stonesfrk Frank from IORR had crazy adventures of his own, we all had trouble getting an honest taxi after the show, Frank got robbed twice the next day)

    7) Kopenhagen (not so great from the end of Keith's wing up in the stands (tier), complacent fans, they tried to get me to sit down and I screamed "this is a Rolling Stones concert, you dont SIT down!", then they left me alone; met Iris and Ruediger back at their hotel at about 230 am after they had walked all the way back from the stade and had an intense visit for 45 minutes or so

Lausanne - found Marianne and Tref gang (including Ed and Mrs. Ed) outside the stade gates, got interviewed by some local TV station whilst I waited (its online but I still havent seen it, anyone have the link?), Connie the Cutie from Munchen and I "attempted" to sing Salt of the Earth for the interviewer; had long, lazy pre party inside, lots of beer including the round I bought for the Tref house; too crowded on floor, but got reasonably close, then I moved over in front of the B stage during Keith's set, lot of people angry with me but they finally shut up and I got some good fotos; good show

9, 10, and 11 ) London I, London II, London III -- all great shows with II being the best Stones show I have seen in 32 years and 44 shows (up to that night); videotaped all 3 shows but not sure how they all came out; partied with IORR gang at the Pilot 2 nights (spilled Gazza's full beer right into Rockman's lap), with the StonesVikings at the Giles 1 night, and with the TREFgang 2 nights, was pleasantly surprised that Steffi, Marianne, and others made it after all of their talk about how they weren't going to London; also went to the "convention"/memorabilia show, Tim Ries show which I videotaped, and after the last gig on Sunday, went with Steff, Jurgens, and Corrina (anyone else?) went outside the Savoy and Simpson's where we saw: Daryl, Lisa, Chuck, M. Davis, Blondie, Bobby, Bill Wyman and daughters, Ronnie, and Mick. The question you are all asking yourselves is: where was Marianne, since she is such a specialist in making contact with the band?

OK, Marianne, now I have made my own list. Are you happy now ???!!! jus kiddin, LOL, whatever!

    hey steffi

if this is a list of treff members who went to the various shows, you are leaving me out of the lists from each show since I joined. And you know exactly which shows I attended. You must be admonished and pray that the Plexiglass itself does not strike you down!!!

Cannot Believe It - Tonight was My Greatest Stones Show Ever in 32 Years

I cannot believe what I just witnessed tonight and I never go into a show thinking this might happen. But at this point, I believe that in 32 years and 44 shows, tonight was the greatest Rolling Stones concert that I have ever seen. Maybe I will change my mind later, but this is what I think and feel at this point.

a few remarks only at this point --

as good as tuesday's show was, triply better.

    great set list

highlights: All Down the Line, Satisfaction, Jumpin Jack Flash, and Midnight Rambler. But almost everything really. And oh, Midnight Rambler. Keith seemed to be riffing so hard and the band has slightly changed and extended the number of late. I cannot adequately describe things so I am not conveying things properly.

They were VERY into it, especially Mick and Keith with a lot of smiles and a LOT of movement from Mick. And everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

At the end, during Brown Sugar, Mick went over and brought Lisa and Bernard out to sing with him center stage. The intensity level rose even more. Suddenly, Keith and Ronnie are physically in the middle of this mix of Mick/Bernard/Lisa.... everyone is intermixed all together and playing their ass off and having THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES!!!

So, the end of my remarks and I know I have not really made a good "case" but I just cannot properly and adequately describe what I just saw. And I am tired and it is 1:22 am.

I am also leaving things out that I will likely think of later. I may supplement this with more impressions later.

    Sorry.

They are now, and I STILL have NOT HEARD from ONE of them.

Rome show reports - COMMENT BY "THE PLEXIGLASS" from Montana

Well, hell, I've just read everyone's postings and I am even more jealous and pissed off now than I was before the show (that I missed it). I hate everybody who went even more now.

Sounds typically Italian/Roman -- chaos, like the traffic, but the locals know what they are doing, I would suspect there is a "method in their madness."

I have never been to so many shows on a Stones tour (also including the one Who show in London) with such an open proliferation of bootleg gear (apparel) and so close to the venue. Absolutely NOTHING like the States where there is much more control.

The most open and crazy example of the bootleggers I saw was in Barcelona where, RIGHT DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE STADIUM in the FOS wristband line BEFORE the show for like 2 hours, THEY came to YOU, LOTS of bootleggers came up and down the line REPEATEDLY. And with a variety of different shirts and other items, some of them excellent. It was so EASY. And not a cop in sight bothering any of them.

BTW, Spanish and Italian crowds both have wild reputations -- can anyone compare the Barcelona and Rome shows?? But I suppose the Argentinians still beat them all.

And I must say I am STILL awaiting reports from the GERMAN LADIES.

    WELL, GIRLS ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

    Worst,
