    THE WALTER TROUT POWER TRIO - Hardcore (2007)



    Walter Trout is a blues guitarist and front man of Walter Trout and the Radicals. Trout's career began on the Jersey coast scene of the late 60's and early 70's that jump started the career of artists like Bruce Springsteen. He then decided to relocate to Los Angeles where he became a sideman for such artists as Percy Mayfield and Deacon Jones. He also worked in the bands of John Lee Hooker and Joe Tex.


    "Hardcore" features 9 live tracks recorded during the Power Trio tour in the early spring of 2007.

    Habe selbst er vor paar Tagen eine selbstgebrannte 2CD von Walter Trout and the Radicals gehört. „WT & The Radicals live in Vienna“. Das Konzert lief im Vorjahr im Radio in zwei Teilen, habs dann natürlich gleich aufgenommen. Inklusive sehr schöner Version von I got the Blues oder Love in vain --- weiß monentan nicht mehr so genau (aber leider ausgefadet).


    Heute die Stones mit zwei Fassungen von Honest Man. (Outtake von Voodoo Lounge) – Mann, es ist schade, dass sie manche Lieder nicht fertig stellen und auf Platte pressen. Honest Man ist ein geiler Song, der sehr gut auf VL draufgepaßt hätte. Was heißt hätte... die hätten ihn draufnehmen
    müssen.
