Police records made public by the National Archives
Details of Keith Richards' infamous 1973 drugs bust have finally been revealed, with police reports being released by the National Archives.
The Rolling Stones man faced 25 charges after a raid on his home during June 1973, but eventually given a £250 fine - The Guardian reveals.
The iternary of all confiscated items reads as: marijuana, heroin, Mandrax, drug paraphernalia, a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver, a shotgun and 110 rounds of ammunition.
It has now emerged that Detective Inspector Charles O'Hanlon was told by Richards that the drugs were "down to Marshall Chess" – the son of the Chess record label's boss.After, in a move to to get rid of burnt spoons that had been used to cook up heroin, Richards had "ordered a manservant" to get him and his girlfriend some drinks and unsuccessfully tried to use the spoons to stir the contents.
