    Rolling Stones ignorieren Rauchverbot


    Sie sind noch immer Rock-Rebellen: Bei einem Konzert in London ignorierten die Rolling Stones am Dienstag das strikte Rauchverbot in Grossbritannien.
    Wie die Boulevardzeitung «Sun» berichtete, zündeten sich Sänger Keith Richards und Gitarrist Ron Wood vor den Augen der Zuschauer ihre Glimmstengel an. Zuvor war die Band im besten James-Bond-Stil mit einem Schnellboot zu ihrem Konzert gebracht worden, das am Rand der Themse stattfand. Die drei fulminanten Auftritte in der Londoner O2-Arena bilden das Finale der Europa-Tournee «A Bigger Bang». Ob die Stones für die «Zigarette danach» einen Strafzettel bekamen, wurde nicht bekannt.     Lächerlich die ganze Rauchdebatte, wird noch lustig werden!


    In Baden Würrtemberg ist ja das Rauchen in Kneipen jetzt auch verboten, weiterhin erlaubt ist es dagegen in Bierzelten, ein schwäbische Wirt hat jetzt in seiner kneipe ein Zelt stehen und somit darf geraucht werden!, höööööööööö

    Cannot Believe It - Tonight was My Greatest Stones Show Ever in 32 Years

    I cannot believe what I just witnessed tonight and I never go into a show thinking this might happen. But at this point, I believe that in 32 years and 44 shows, tonight was the greatest Rolling Stones concert that I have ever seen. Maybe I will change my mind later, but this is what I think and feel at this point.


    a few remarks only at this point --


    as good as tuesday's show was, triply better.


    great set list


    highlights: All Down the Line, Satisfaction, Jumpin Jack Flash, and Midnight Rambler. But almost everything really. And oh, Midnight Rambler. Keith seemed to be riffing so hard and the band has slightly changed and extended the number of late. I cannot adequately describe things so I am not conveying things properly.


    They were VERY into it, especially Mick and Keith with a lot of smiles and a LOT of movement from Mick. And everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.


    At the end, during Brown Sugar, Mick went over and brought Lisa and Bernard out to sing with him center stage. The intensity level rose even more. Suddenly, Keith and Ronnie are physically in the middle of this mix of Mick/Bernard/Lisa.... everyone is intermixed all together and playing their ass off and having THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES!!!


    So, the end of my remarks and I know I have not really made a good "case" but I just cannot properly and adequately describe what I just saw. And I am tired and it is 1:22 am.


    I am also leaving things out that I will likely think of later. I may supplement this with more impressions later.

    ABER WAS WAR DAS DENN ????
    Es war die absolut beste Show, die ich je gesehen habe. Ich dachte Dublin wäre schon gut. Aber das hier war UNBESCHREIBLICH. Wie gerne wäre ich geblieben bis Sonntag. Alles an London hat diemal gepasst. Hotel in den Docklands. O2 Arena, toller Ort. Un dann diese Show. Ein Jagger, der mehr Power forderte, auf die Lautsprecher. Ein rauchender Richards. Später mehr, ich muss packen, geht nach Kiel heute.
