1995 der Gig im Olympia in Paris war ein spontaner Gig, der wurde soweit ich weiß erst morgens im Radio verkündet!

Und wie Mrs M schon schreibt, Kanada - RPM Club! (oder so ähnlich)

Ah. Okay. Ich dachte, die Klubgigs von 1995 gehörten zum festen Programm für das Album Stripped.

Möchts jetzt nicht beeiden, meine das aber gelesen zu haben!

Ich suche das morgen mal raus! Aber kommt das nicht auch im Film "Stripped" vor? Da wird das doch im Radio bekannt gegeben, oder?

Bei dieser Tour waren die Stones weit weit weg für mich! Bei Zentgraf kann man auch nichts rauslesen, es wurden Soundboard Aufnahmen gemacht, gefilmt etc., was eigentlich für 'ne geplante Show spricht!

Man müsste mal 'nen original Tourplan von damals sehen!?

Paris, May 1995. Club Olympia.
I get a call at 2 in the morning and I am asleep. My friend, who works for Virgin Records in Paris, has an inside tip for me: the Stones are about to announce a show at the famous - and famously tiny - Club Olympia for the next night. There will be only 400 tickets for sale. I do the unbelievably vapid thing of getting dressed and legging it down to the Virgin Megastore on the Champs Elysees at 3 in the morning. There are already several hundred other desperate Stones fans like me waiting in line. We wait in line through the night, the crowd growing to several thousand as the rumour spreads. There are TV stations there, radio reporters. At 10 a.m., after a 7-hour wait without food, drink or a pee break, the doors to Virgin Megastore open and the tickets go on sale. Another three hours later I have a single coveted ticket and a blue bracelet - which becomes my passport for all manner of debauchery over the next 24 hours. That's another story. My ticket number is 397 and Virgin will stop selling tickets in about 30 seconds. You can imagine my sense of euphoria -although it could have been simple lightheadedness brought on by the lack of food and drink and sleep.
