Keith mal ohne Kopftuch! Er sieht gut aus, auch mit langsam lichteren Haaren (meine ich ehrlich!)

Scream honors Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards tonight by presenting him with the Rock Immortal Award. Johnny Depp, who famously chose to crib the rock legend's eccentric mannerisms for his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow, did the honors by setting up a tribute video for Captain Sparrow, Sr.

"Once you're up there [on the stage], you're not thinking," Richards opened the video with, as it then charts his ride with the Stones over the years, from the rolling, swinging sixties to present day. "How did you survive?" he is asked in an old interview reel that closes the tribute. The young Richards smiles and shrugs. "I don't know."

Depp followed with a similar quip, pointing out the significance of the "immortal" bit in the award's name.

"Long after humanity incinerates the entire world, the only things left alive are cockcroaches... and Keith Richards." With that, the honoree climbed up and accepted the award. Richards kept his acceptance incredibly short, only muttering out a quick thank you before disappearing backstage.

New York, NY, October 15, 2009 – Spike TV will honor the legendary rock icon Keith Richards with the “SCREAM 2009” Rock Immortal Award, it was announced today by Casey Patterson, svp, talent development and event production, Spike TV. The show tapes on Saturday, October 17 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA and will premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27 (10:00 PM-Midnight, ET/PT). The two-hour event will air in more than 100 countries worldwide.

“Keith Richards is part rock god, part superhero and nobody had rocked as hard and lived to tell about it,” said Patterson. “As his friend Johnny Depp once pointed out, Keith Richards was a beloved and feared pirate long before he ever played the part in any movie.”

Spike TV will pay homage to the single coolest guitar legend on the planet with a SCREAM-worthy tribute from some of Richards’ most die-hard fans. Richards, who in 2007 won “SCREAM’s” Best Cameo Award for his role in “Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End,” is unstoppable and he continues to successfully fight to keep the nervy, rebellious and wildly defiant spirit of Rock & Roll alive and well.

“Uprising” from Muse’s critically acclaimed worldwide hit album “The Resistance,” has been named the official theme song for “SCREAM 2009.”

The talent roster continues to grow for this year’s SCREAM. Hey er sieht saugut aus,richtig fit und gesund.Mir gefällt das gut mit seinen Haaren,er scheint `drüber wegzusein,das er immer weniger hat.Obwohl mit den Bandanas, war das auch so schön Piratenmäßig.Aber egal ,hauptsache ihm gehts gut.Habe übrigens mal weitergelesen auf IORR ,da steht ,das am 31.10. auf Pro 7 um 0.30-2.00 die Verleihung gesendet wird.Werde ich mir auf jedenfall ansehen oder aufzeichnen.
