In der aktuellen Radio Times gibt sich Ronnie optimistisch:
The Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood says the members of the band are "all ready to go" for a much-awaited new tour and there is now just "a matter of tying up loose ends".
Speaking in Radio Times, he revealed that the Stones even had a studio jam session together last December. "It was great," he said. "Keeping our chops together, that's what we love. Basically, get the boys feeling comfortable with each other. We're all happy - we were happy before Christmas. It's getting better each time."
It's the band's 50th anniversary this year but the Stones have not toured together since 2007 and there is still no official confirmation that they will return. However Wood said: "Each week brings a new development." -
On February 24, Keith will help raise funds for the Jazz Foundation of America by performing at the Howlin' for Hubert memorial concert at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem.
Keef am 24.2. in NY, Mick am 21.2. "um die Ecke" in Washington. Vielleicht trifft man sich ja mal auf'n Kaffee bei Mc Doof oder mal wieder auf einem Bahnhof
und bespricht ein paar Dinge.............

Rumours have long circulated that the legendary rock'n'roll band will play shows this year to mark their 50th anniversary, with drummer Charlie Watts the most recent member of the group to talk up the possibility of a half-centenary celebration.Now, in an interview with the Radio Times, Wood has also said he wants the band to play together and, when asked if he and his bandmates would be hitting the road, he replied:
"Be lovely, wouldn't it? That's what we're on the verge of. I dunno what the hell is gonna happen yet but we all feel we owe it to ourselves and to the people to do something."
