    On November 22nd 1981, in the middle of their mammoth American tour, the Rolling Stones arrived in Chicago prior to playing 3 nights at the Rosemont Horizon. Long influenced by the Chicago blues, the band paid a visit to Muddy Waters’ club the Checkerboard Lounge to see the legendary bluesman perform. It didn’t take long before Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Ian Stewart were joining in on stage and later Buddy Guy and Lefty Dizz also played their part. It was a unique occasion that was fortunately captured on camera. Now, restored from the original footage and with sound mixed and mastered by Bob Clearmountain, this amazing blues night is being made available in an official release for the first time.

    Yeaaaaaaaaah!!! Da freu ich mich riesig drauf. Ich liebe diesen Auftritt. Bin mal auf die Quali gespannt. Vielleicht gibt es demnächst noch einen Trailer dazu.


    Hat eigentlich einer eine Ahnung wie oft Muddy mit den Jungs gemeinsam auf der Bühne stand? Das schwirrt mir schon seit einiger Zeit im Kopf herum. Doch wenn ich was dazu lese, dann nur von diesem Gig.

    Hoffentlich ist es die komplette Show, es gab es ja zwei Bootleg DVD Versionen (1DVD bis 3DVD).


    Ich glaube, die haben nur einmal miteinander gespielt, bin mir aber auch nicht sicher..

    Tolle News :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: - hatte schon die Befürchtung das mit Hampton das Jahr 1981 abgeschlossen ist.
    Ich hoffe auch auf eine qualitativ bessere Umsetzung, wie es ja (mal mehr mal etwas weniger) bei den bisherigen 3 Downloadalben auch der Fall war :thumbsup:

    Bin mir also ziemlich sicher, dass das ein massiver Qualitätsanstieg sein wird. Trotz 4:3 Bildformat...
